The food is amazing, the atmosphere is cozy in the winter months, and beautifully breezy in the spring and fall. Summer can be hot, but their patio is so nice. Seniors Be aware not good experience!!! The first time here went at 4 pm during senior hours. Server had to check about senior menu, not knowing the details. Hidden fees for credit card useage, not mentioned on the menu or by the server, "Non-cash adjustment". Got over charged regular prices for glasses of wine and beer, even though the senior menu price was lower. Ordered catfish cooked hard as a piece of leather, nearly slide off the plate onto my lap. Shrimp and undercooked French fries, not an enjoyable meal. The dessert was very good. Explained all the issues to the manager on-duty, she did work things out, i.e removed up charged because I paid in cash, reduced drinks price. Paid the bill for adjacent senior couple, wanted to see what their experience was like. Definitely DO NOT recommend going here, many other better places to eat at in Dubuque. We had the alligator, calamari and catfish dinner! It was absolutely delicious! Best gator I’ve had! Even great cold the next day! Cheesy mashed potatoes were great and service was fantastic! Bonus, a beautiful view. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here for dinner as it was recommended. The 3 cheese mashed potatoes are super delicious. Like I need to know how their mashed potatoes are made as they are so fluffy, and not starchy. I and how they made the cheese sauce and just how they make the entire dish its that great. . I had a burger which also was good with homemade potato chips. Most everything is made in house. We had a great experience here! The Family and I had to wait to sit outside rather than inside, but it was worth it. We were sat kind of close to the building where the view was not so great, so I kindly asked if we might sit closer to the railing and everyone was incredibly accommodating! The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had the perfect weather to sit outside, and although it is not situated right on the Mississippi River proper, you can still see it from the right table. We ordered the alligator bites as an appetizer, which filled me up. Husband got the Three Little Pigs sandwich, which was huge but tasty. Kid got a kids burger with bacon, which was small, so he devoured the whole thing pretty quickly. I got the special: catfish tenders, beer cheese mac and cheese, and soup of the day, which was some sort of pork and potato soup. I also got the Blueberry vanilla Baltic Porter, which was even tastier than I anticipated! We all agreed that the food was worth the price of the bill. We will totally come back to try more!! Really a great experience, with good outdoor dining. The made-on-site beer is solid. The food portions are large, with a variety if southern seafood and some midwestern options. We enjoyed the catfish, beer cheese soup, and beer cheese mac n cheese. The outdoor deck seating overlooking the port and Mississippi River is the best feature. Indoor ambiance is good, and the bar gets very cramped when busy. Plenty of parking. Overall, 4.5/5 I'd say (if I could do partial stars). We enjoyed a late lunch here over the 4th of July weekend. Great comfort food (we had to have the Fried Catfish, Jambalaya, Calamari, Oysters and even tried their Wisconsin cheese curds). Being located off the Mississippi River makes it a Atmosphere offering classic indoor and superior outdoor dining tables with cool umbrellas. What made our meal special was our tremendous Server Chris who was professional, kind, attentive to our table while managing so many other tables. Highly recommended!
