A very nice property for your event, whether it's a simple party (birthday, retirement, etc.) or a wedding. There's a beautiful vineyard area to do your ceremony although there's no nearby electricity if you want to have a sound system OR DJ or other vendor that would need such a utility for it (protip: you'll need about 200 feet of electrical cord to reach from the main building to vineyard). The main house itself is functional for cocktail hour in the back porch or you can even use the house for lodging (they offer it as an Airbnb when not offering the property for events) and it has a hot tub as well as swimming pool. Finally, there's a nearby wine tasting room which can be used for the dance area or the main event with small guest count. If you have a lot of guests, the Tasting Room can be used as a dance area while a tent can be set up outside for the dinner portion of your event as well as a place for guests to sit and relax. There's plenty of parking on the property and it is easy to find off of the main road as well as main highway. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.
It’s a shame that your lack of communication has tainted our opinion and view of your winery. You advertised your 4th of July wine festival and fireworks event. Then you postponed the event days in advance due to the chance of storms, which closer to the event date, the updated forecast backed off the storms. You offered no refunds for those not able to willing to attend the September 3rd makeup date. Then, 4 days before the new September event date, you canceled/postponed again. And only announced that information on Facebook. Not on your website or through an email (like you did for the July date). I emailed you requesting information about a refund after the latest postponement, commented on your Facebook post, but no response to either. This is not good customer service and very poor communication to the patrons supporting you. It’s a shame because we did enjoy your winery, but will not be returning and have told our friends this story.
UPDATE: Jennifer, the refund processed within 30 minutes of my review being posted. I never received any email communications regarding the September event being postponed, again, or refund any information. Thank you for taking care is this.
What a 💎 gem! You would never think to drive down this narrow winding road and end up at such a beautiful property with amazing wines🍷 live music 🎸events 🎉🎂and more.
Beautiful winery building.
They offer tastings as well as by the glass and of course bottles. They have meats and cheeses for pairings.
The staff on that day were Roger and Candy and they could not have been more personable, helpful, and attentive. 🥰
They offer full service weddings and there is also a huge Airbnb house on property 😱
As I write this, I’m sitting at a table in their tasting room for an hour and only tasted (taste meaning a sip keep in mind) 3 of the 8 wines on their premium tasting. Literally only one person working doing multiple tastings at once and running to all the tables, except for ours. They need to be better staffed to accommodate people on a holiday Sunday, or close if they are short staffed. We had to cut the tasting short and leave as it was just taking wayyyy too long. Unacceptable. We won’t be returning.
I don't want to give this place a good review because I don't want too many people finding out about this great little winery that's tucked away and not crowded. But I must do the right thing...
This company was serving wine slushies at the apple blossom wine festival. The staff serving the slushies were rude and they charged $22 for one small cup they didn’t even fill. Ridiculous.
We had an ABSOLUTE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE at Castle Glen Winery thanks to Candy and Sierra!! The premium tasting and the Bubble Bar🥂 were AMAZING. Can't wait to visit them again!
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff but the wine was terrible. The premium tasting revealed no premium product. Some were non drinkable and what exactly is the point of a sugar slushie with wine added?
