My sista' friend and I went to Carrabba's in Athens for the very first time today and loved it. The food, atmosphere and the service was 5 star all the way. Our server Matthew M. was excellent, very attentive and professional. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine and it was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the complimentary Strawberry Cheesecake for being a first time patron. I will definitely be back again and again. This restaurant is very well run, the staff are on the ball. Very courteous and fast. The food is always excellent. We love coming here. Nicki the bartender is very adept at her job and all the servers and helpers are awesome! Carrabba’s Italian Grill has some hits and misses. The Chicken Trio with Alfredo Pasta is a winner in my opinion. The Sausage Lentil Soup is hearty and satisfying. Unfortunately, the Veal Marsala didn’t live up to expectations. Service is alright, and the food comes out in a reasonable time. Our sever (Hannah B.) greeted us with a smile on her face. She was very polite & patient with us as she was taking our order. She was definitely one of the most kind-hearted servers we have had. You can say we loved the food. But her gracious attitude towards us made the experience that much better! Highly recommend.
