Good food and great prices for seafood, specials are worth the money, gumbo lacks in flavor due to lack of proper rue but it's edible more like okra stew with some fish pieces and tiny shrimp, gator bites are good but the sauce should be remoulade not a hot sauce base, crab leg prices are great so if you want those this is the place to go.

Everyone said the food was good. We ordered 2 catfish baskets with corn and mac n cheese, a red snapper basket with mac n cheese and coleslaw. The food was NOT good. The fish was overcooked and tasted like old grease, the mac n cheese tasted like soggy noodles and watered down cheese no salt, pepper, or any seasoning, the hush pupies were small and just a ball of cornbread..no flavor and hard. I was so disappointed especially for 80 bucks and when we called to express or disappointment the guy on the phone got upset and proceeded to over talk me and also hung up on me.

The food is excellent at Capeside! Choose your fish and choose how you want it cooked. They always a Special that is very good, but you can't go wrong with the shrimp basket.

Wow! We will be coming back. Gumbo good n spicy, crab dip good. Shrimp basket some of the best fried shrimp ever.

Our first visit . Our neighbors took us out for a Christmas gift. It was a wonderful time . The staff was friendly and service very good. The restaurant was busy but wait time was very good. My wife and I both had the fried shrimp baskets. They had fry’s ,cole slaw , very good hush puppies,and about 10 fresh plump shrimp. All were excellent. We will return and try some more of their offerings. They are also a fresh seafood market with just about everything. We are glad our neighbors brought us here. Come see for yourself.

This fish market is very clean and well kept. I stopped in for some shrimp, scallops and some fish. I ended up choosing the Ocean Perch and I have to be honest…..wish I hadn’t. It smelled bad out of the bag I bought it in. My husband convinced me to cook it to see if it was just us. After cooking it smelled like pure ammonia. I tried to feed it to my cats but even they wouldn’t touch it. The shrimp and scallops were very fresh. The staff was super helpful. I just won’t be returning for fish. 🤷‍♀️
