The menu of Italian cuisine is to the pleasure of all guests here. Come to this bar to try perfectly cooked lasagna, tri-tip and Caesar salads. Tasty tiramisu is what a lot of tourists try here. It's nice to taste delicious chianti, beer or martinis. If you're the great coffee fan, you may like cafe tuscano. The warm atmosphere of this place makes visitors feel relaxed and have a nice time. The staff is said to be appealing here. This spot is remarkable for its fast service. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are average. You will be pleased with the cute decor. 4.4 is what this bar got from the Google rating system.

This was a restaurant that I have heard good things about and had high expectations for. We decided that we will go here for a special occasion, an unfortunate decision. The crawfish soup turned out to be the best thing I had there. It was delicious and dipping the roll in it was heavenly. We had the Brie appetizer, which was fun to try, but where’s the Brie? It was just a small amount of cheese sauce drizzle. That wasn’t what I expected. I ordered the Beef Tri Tip Fettuccine. The tri tip was incredibly tough and unseasoned. I ordered the tri tip to be medium rare, but I was still surprised to see a pool of blood accumulated on my plate. Plate presentation isn’t a priority I guess. I definitely didn’t finish my plate, sorry Mom. My spouse ordered the crab stuffed halibut. She only ate the crab and leaving behind the dry sad halibut. For being one of the pricier items on the menu, we expected the dish to be actually good and cooked well. Maybe you’ll have more luck than us, but in the meantime, I do not recommend Cafe Tuscano. We took some friends of ours to Pocatello to try something different. It’s been a while since we had been here and wasn’t sure what to expect. The last time we were here it was still part of the gas station. They have remodeled and it looks great inside. A great utilization of the space available to them. The service was great. They treated us well even though they had a ton of people there for Christmas Parties. If you have a big group or a small intimate gathering they have the right spot for you and your guest. My only complaint was the lack or warmth near the glass window but I’m cold a lot so it was probably just me. The service was great and I was impressed with her she politely told us the situation in the kitchen with all of the parties and suggested that we get our order in or it could be a wait. We were glad to oblige. She was very tactful and I like that. The food came out in a timely manner considering the business of the restaurant. All of the dishes ordered were very good and those that were hot were steaming. The food here was amazing! We started with the steak bruschetta and clams as appetizers. They were so flavorful. The clams had such a light sauce, lots of good garlic flavor. A little salty, but delicious. Then we had the house salad and crawfish bisque. The bisque had just the right amount of spice and was so creamy. The salad had a great balsamic dressing that wasn’t too heavy and complimented the tomatoes, onions, and olives in the salad. For our main entrees we had the chicken piccata with risotto and the tri tip Alfredo. The chicken was so flavorful and lightly breaded, the risotto was creamy, and the vegetables were cooked el dente with a little crispness to them. The tri tip Alfredo paired perfectly with the Gorgonzola on top. Alfredo is always a little bland by nature but the creaminess and pungent flavor of the Gorgonzola was perfect and the steak was very juicy and delicious. We had the white chocolate Bundt cake and the turtle cheesecake to go, but later that night they were amazingly flavorful. We had the best server Mikirah. She was great at providing recommendations and my drink was never empty and I didn’t have to ask for a refill once. Everything was amazing. A great anniversary/birthday dinner for us! This is an outstanding establishment. Great food and excellent service! We had our work Christmas party there and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended. Besides the fine dining there is an amazing bar for those that drink, and some side dining areas for more privacy. I enjoy it every time I dine there. We went there today for my birthday dinner and it was just ok. I wasn’t impressed with the size of the entree for the price. I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese (see pics) and the bowl wasn’t full and we all know that pasta is cheap. That’s not very much food for $23. The house salad was good but tiny. I was disappointed over all. The service was great. The waitress refilled our sodas whenever they were getting low and she was friendly and polite. Overall, it was just ok. Last time we went was 3 years ago for my birthday. Plus there were flies buzzing around our table- that’s a major minus in my opinion. I expected some mellow music playing in the background like instrumental, jazz or piano instead they were playing loud 80’s music. It was not very relaxing just saying.
