vegan banh mi with braised jackfruit & kimchi was chef’s kiss! my mouth was watering from the aromatics as I waited for my order. really delicious take on traditional vietnamese yet still brought me back to my momma’s kitchen. cafe space was eclectic and very much what I expect from a coffee shop in old city with its cool art & decor. a must stop if your in the area! Stopped in yesterday for the first time and had such a wonderful experience. The jackfruit and kimchi banh mi was so good! Perfect crispy bread and just so much flavor in the sandwich. The owner, Pete, introduced himself and was so kind and welcoming. This is exactly the type of business I love to support and I plan to return again someday soon!
