What can I say other than this is really good thai food. The atmosphere is okay and the service , “Sprite” and the people working do their best at helping the diners with food or anything. Ordering was hard because the menu was very BIG. It was hard to decide because there are so many things on the menu, but I went with a safe Duck Curry , and a Tom Yum Soup. The mango and strawberry fresh rolls were unique and very good , the sauces made it work. Duck Curry was on a 1-5 heat rating , I chose 3 and it was not too spicy but it had kick. My main takeaways is that the food is very good , but I think it’s hard to have excellent service with one person taking all orders and dealing with everyone. Chefs were great and everything tasted good , but portion sizes were also pretty small considering a Duck Curry was $20, and a large order of fresh rolls was 4 rolls cut in half if i remember correctly, (check photos). I say it was a small portion because I’ve had other thai spots give much more for the price , does the taste justify it? Not really. I ordered to-go food and I had two curry dishes and it had maybe 10 small pieces of chicken, not very many veggies at all mostly soup. The spring rolls were cut up bite size and just lettuce with avocado sprinkled on top. Pad Thai was pretty good. I got 3 entrees and two appetizers and we were hungry still. I won’t be going back. I placed a Togo order and when I arrived to pick up the order, I asked to add a Thai tea to the order. The man at the register audibly huffed at me. I told him if it was too big of an inconvenience that he didn’t have to make it. He ignored me and loudly/aggressively made the drink. It made me uncomfortable so I opted to not tip on the to go order. When he saw this he threw the receipt book down on the counter and yelled something that wasn’t English for the kitchen to hear. Needless to say, I’ll never be back. Food quality was okay, average Thai. Food: 3 Service: 1

Completely disgusted by what we found after receiving a delivery from this place. Please see the attached photos regarding a delivery from Bunn Thai Bistro on Monday, May 29, 2023. My daughter opened the container while sitting next to me and multiple tangled hairs were attached to her food as she was about to take a bite. According to regulations by FDA Food Code, "Food Code reference: 2-402.11 The Food Code requires that food employees wear hair restraints that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and unwrapped single-service or single-use articles. The purpose of this provision is both to prevent hair from contacting food and food-contact surfaces and to deter food employees from touching their hair." Super clean, great tasting food, and excellent service is what we experienced! The green curry with tofu, the bean thread and vegetable dish, and the tom yum goong soup was to die for!!! We had the avocado rolls with the ginger sauce…Yummy! All above the top tasting and The Best Thai/Asian food, ever!!! We highly recommend this little restaurant in Grover Beach!!!
