Divey but really cool. One of my favorite stops in Rapid City. Not dance. But beer is cold and people are great. Plus they have Hamms tallboys.

Didn't have food. The Blazee is a great drink. Tastes like a sour gummy worm. The bartenders are all knowledgeable. Downtown Dive Bar.

Favorite bar in Rapid City, decent prices, good crowd, great service.
Edit: I've been going here for 8 years and it's been my favorite bar but I was there with some close friends and family on my birthday and they told us we aren't allowed to play dice, we always play dice or cards there but the one night I bring people who don't usually go we're told to quit.

If you're looking for a great college bar with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly bartenders, Brass Rail Bar is definitely worth checking out. While it can be easy to walk by when wandering around, this bar is the perfect place to grab a drink after a long day.
The bartenders at Brass Rail Bar are some of the friendliest in town. They always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Not only are they great at making drinks, but they also take the time to chat with you when it’s not too busy, and often recognize you and know your name.
The atmosphere at Brass Rail Bar is low key and relaxed. It's not too loud or crowded except on weekends when it can really get busy, so you can actually have a conversation with your friends without having to shout over the music (normally!). The bar has a great selection of beers on tap, as well as a variety of cocktails and other drinks. Normally if you ask the bartenders, they often will have a recommendation or some of the bar favorites like the “Antioxygen”
Overall, Brass Rail Bar is a great spot for college students and normal people alike who are looking for a great place to grab some drinks and blow off steam.
