I don't think they cook anything anymore. Just take it out of a bag. Heat it up in the microwave. I always get trainees as the wait staff, never get it right. Same as ever. My husband and I went to Bob Evans at my request, he wanted Waffle House. We waited to be seated while the host (who turned out to be the manager) spoke to a man who came in after us. We were then seated in a corner booth when 75% of the tables were available. The manager set our menus on the table and walked away before we even got there. We waited for 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. When the waitress, Tiffany, finally came over, she wasn't even the waitress assigned to our area. She apologized and said she would take our order since we had waited so long and would notify the manager. Still, our assigned waitress does not come to our table. The manager finally comes over and stares at me until he realizes I'm not going to initiate the conversation and then says "is there a problem?" 😒 He knew there was a problem because the waitress had already explained. I tell him and he mumbles something about talking to the waitress. Tiffany is now our waitress and still, the other waitress does not come to apologize or anything. Just ignores us and keeps serving her other tables. Tiffany was absolutely amazing. She's the only reason we stayed. We were given 10% military discount. It was very upsetting. I walked inside and promptly seated. Waitress was right there taking order for drinks. I started looking at all the people doing their jobs, and they were all in a good mood. It was very refreshing to see these days. Keep up the good work. Overall I like Bob Evans. This time I ordered the French toast and a side of scrambled eggs. It tasted good but it didn't agrees with me. This is my 2nd time having that same meal just at a different location. I think I have to wipe that off my list. However I like Bob Evans and will be returning.
