The food was fantastic. The service however has a lot to be desired. Our waiter took off. We didn't see him for well over 20 minutes. My date got very impatient and it was my birthday. I gave the food a 2 because not everything is terrible. Service is awful, you’ll be lucky to get the one guy that’s actually good at his job. There’s just a group of promiscuous young ladies that work there, let me just say you’ll want to be able to understand Spanish around these young ladies. I overheard their conversation about sleeping with their manager which is just not appropriate. They even mentioned a girl got fired for having an affair with the boss not too long ago. Also there’s a 15 year old waiter that serves alcohol which im sure is illegal. And for the atmosphere I’d say it’s very disorganized, only due to the construction that has been going on for I’d say almost 2 years, it’s kinda been in the way, the last time I ate there I thought I’d get to enjoy the patio but I guess not, never going back again. That was the last chance blue agave lol, can’t even do it. TIP: if you do decide to eat here, no judge I’d just say don’t order any chicken and ask for a cup of HOT WATER to dunk your silverware in or just bring your own like I did. I really like it here. It’s my go to spot. I love the Carne asada tacos. I would have loved to give this place a higher rating but the food left a lot to be desired. The menu is expansive to much. Food did arrive quickly and was hot but lacking seasoning. The options were PLENTIFUL, and the food was amazing! The only drawback for me is one the most expensive items on the menu which would be the steak & chicken fajitas had only SLIVERS of steak. I don't I have ever experienced a time where I have had more veggies than meat. ***heads up for those who enjoy Menudo as I do, they have it served in a nice sized bowl with lots of flavor (NO hominy tho). The best thing about the experience was the drink. The rice was sticky and bland the potatoes were hard and dry and the steak was rough and chewy. My server seemed annoyed that I was the first customer of the day. He didn't even bother to give his name.He brought my order to the patio and disappeared until it was time for the check.Waste of money for the meal. And my customer service was very unwelcoming. Placed an online order. Very user friendly website.First time eating at this establishment. Very clean inside and friendly service. Food cooked fresh and very flavorful. Some of the best guacamole I have ever tasted. Douglasville has a true Gem here. Prices are so reasonable and it was regular price.
