Service was good. I forget the gentleman’s name but he was a good server. Friendly environment. Steak was good. I got a 50 dollar filet and it comes with a side. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I ordered a mac and cheese too. The steak one side and the bread they give you (which was really good) is plenty of food.

Came back after a year and it’s only gotten better. The venue and views, the meals made to perfection and the service: all excellent and left us completely satisfied. Amazing Sunday brunch!!! Great place to make a first impression. Ambience and decor very classy. Full waterfront view. Was our first visit. Celebrated special birthdays. They presented a birthday card when were seated and fun sparkling candle after the meal. The food presentation of many, many dishes at 3 different areas was spectacular and tastefully done, not overwhelming at all.No assembly line feeling. Food quality is outstanding. Guest count was high but reservations staggered the flow so it was never over crowded. Beautiful and very impressive experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Every year we hold our office Christmas party here. The entire team really enjoys the event. We started with drinks and a seafood tower in front of the fireplace. The seafood is always fresh and clean. The Tower is full of Oysters, Clams, Mussels, Crab, and Lobster. It’s sided with tasty bread and crispy fried treats. For dinner we sat in a nice semi-private alcove with views of the River. Our host, Steve was exceptional. The appetizers and main courses were all well prepared. Try the pig on a wire, it’s unique. I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Blu Point in upstate NY. Nested to the next river with windows table and even a terrace, this restaurant served me many times excellent fish and seafood. This time we had a lobstercagot (cooked lobster with parmesan and gruyere toasts), crab cake and branzino, all amazing. This restaurant is amazing. It has a beautiful view. The decor, the lighting, seating was just want we were looking for our anniversary. The staff was professional and friendly. We definitely recommend for anniversaries and date nights. 10/10 for me. I would put a higher score, if I could. Came to Blu Pointe (315pm) after enjoying the 1pm Pride of the Hudson boat tour. Beautiful restaurant on the Hudson. Reservations are usually required, but I believe you can walk in (just not on a busy day or night). MONDAY – FRIDAY Lunch Menu: 11:30-2pm Mid-Day Menu: 2pm-5pm Available in the Bar and Lounge Dinner Menu: 5pm-9pm SATURDAY Lunch Menu 11:30-3pm Dinner Menu 3pm-10pm SUNDAY Brunch 11-2pm Dinner 2pm-8pm The dock is closed for the season. We ordered the Lobster Roll with Fries, Prime Rib sandwich with Caesar Salad, and the French Onion Burger with Truffle Fries. Fries were great and not overly salted. The flavor of the 2 of 3 sandwiches were enjoyable, but when the sandwiches arrived, they were all very soggy so they had to be eaten with a knife and fork. The lobster roll needed a sauce because it was a bit lacking in taste....maybe a garlic aioli or a garlic coleslaw. The ambience was lovely for a warm August afternoon. Seating outside is covered but open air and with the slight breeze off the Hudson it was perfect. There is seating inside as well as lounge chairs either tables for quick drinks. Outdoor bar also available. Free parking available on left and right sides of restaurant. Would go back for a dinner experience maybe. Usually don’t do to many reviews but when service and place is 5 stars ⭐️ I have to, would like to start with ambiance it rocks Blue Point very professional and place dose not disappoint service 5 stars ⭐️ all around our waiter IZZY one of a kind great guy fast professional and such kind person amazing he gets it’s done also rest of staff as well great job guys.
