Come here for a drink after a long walk around Tromso Domkirke. Try nicely cooked hamburgers, taro and rolls. Don't miss the opportunity to try delicious beer or good ale. Great coffee is waiting for you at this bar. The homely atmosphere of Blårock Cafe allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. The terrific staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Guests say that the service is prompt here. Democratic prices at this place are good news for its clients. Tasty but over cooked burger. Interesting way of doing dirty fries. Good selection of Norwegian craft beer. They are an Untappd verified venue but, haven't updated the menu in over a month. We saw comments that restaurants in Tromsö are not very dog friendly. Luckily this restaurant allowed us to have our dog on the terrace. The food was also great. Thick patties are not my favorite and I think it was ready-made patties that they fried. The end product was great. The really great dish was the dirty fries though. Good food but they required a whole hour to bring us the burguers. And the burguers came without potatoes... It has no sense. The service has been horrible. I do not recommend you to come here if you are visiting the city, because you are going to loose so much time. No complaints! Nice spot for an old school punk/dive bar lover to have a bite and a couple of beers by myself. The food was good, fries had a great flavor, cool posters and vibe, simply awesome music playing in the background, it rivals Casino el Camino in Austin..... glad I stopped in to check it out. Great little pub. Burgers were very tasty. Decent selection of beers, etc. I didn't see a gig here, but I imagine the atmosphere would be really nice. Cosy little place for a few drinks. Another place in Tromsø that has been recommended to us by the owner of the hostel we stayed in. He said we shouldn't go to hard rock cafe because it's everywhere and it's b#%%^@!t. We should go to Blårock Cafe instead as there is no place alike. And he was 100% right. This place is stunning. I love the atmosphere and food (they serve burgers, fries, salads etc). You can order your meal by the bar and waiter will bring it to your table. You should definitely try the dirty fries (fries covered in bacon, cheese and sauce). Delicious. You can pick one of the multiple floors to sit on. Walls are covered in guitars and band posters. It's full of people, it's noisy and kinda dirty if you know what I mean. ;) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome location with super friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed my stay a lot. The burger was good, but for my taste still a bit too medium (after ordering well done). The cook even showed up at the table to make sure the burger meets my request but the medium part was only in the middle, so I can't blame him, because when he asked me, everything was fine. The fries on the other hand have been extraordinary. Definitely will come back on my next visit in Tromsø.

The burgers here were delicious and the beer selection was good as well. There is no English menu, but the bar tender was happy to help translate for us. The sauces that the burgers were served with were unique and really added to the flavor of the burgers. The fries were also very good - seasoned well.

Best burgers in Tromso. No kidding. Very nice music. Been there twice, second time the fries were a bit overdone, but okay. Cool looking interior, but not too cozy. Staff is doing their job, but that’s it. A real bartender is a bit of a psychologist.. Anyway, definitely recommend. Burgers to die for.
