Basic menu but fantastic execution of the limited options. Great burgers, fried fish, and chicken. The ribs were not our favorite. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are affordable. It is very dark inside so watch your step. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Great place; love the "dive bar" feel. Friendly patrons at the bar, attentive bartender. There truly isn't any better place for broasted chicken. I love seeing youth as servers, as service work is very character building. Noticed a wide variety of food being served, including steaks. Now that I'm back in town, I'll be visiting more frequently. The Blacksmith has really good chicken. As a result, they are really busy. They do move people in and out smoothly however. The noise level is pretty high so having a conversation is difficult. Having said that it is worth going for the food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

First visit to Blacksmith was when moved to Flake 7 years ago. Not impressed, never went back. Until 2 weeks ago. Everything was amazing. Saturday night, yet we got right in, private table, great service. And the food was excellent! I had the half chicken, wife had the steak. SO good! Oh, and the prices were excellent as well. Broasted chicken is the draw, but everything I’ve had has been delicious! Good service, waitresses are wonderful even with their busy shifts. Cheerful always. Like the tickets for meat. Had Thanksgiving company and was proud to bring them to the Blacksmith. Affordable prices. Came in for the meat raffle. 8 cars in the lot and 25 people in the bar. Clearly I was out of place by the looks from the people at the bar. Happy hour is only available at the bar. I’m guessing most people had been here since lunch. The meat raffle definitely has its followers. All the “friends” sit in the big side room and the lady goes around the bar, then into the room. The food here is good. Hot and tasty for sure. Service is variable. I’ve had good and bad.This is definitely a place for regulars. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Busy busy place in a Saturday night but we had a party of 10 and were sat quickly. Food took a while to come out and oddly the veggies took longer than the protein portions to come out. This restaurant is a hidden gem! I have not had service like we had during our meal for a long time. Wish there were six stars for service. We had the Broaster chicken and it didn't disappoint. Great prices, great service! Not complaining about the atmosphere, it's not a 4 star restaurant, far from, but I knew that going in. We will be back for sure! Stopped by here based upon other reviews and was not disappointed one bit! Tried the 10 Oz sirloin steak and hash browns, Fish and Chips. Cheese curds and Hamburger and all tasted amazing and were fresh. Even the salad, although simple was pleasantly tasty. The service was amazing and our waitress was on top of everything, from drinks to asking questions to figure out what they had. Even the food came out way quicker then expected and was hot. So glad to have come here!
