1 plate had cold hashbrowns, and another was screaming hot, another was left under the heat lamp for so long that the orange/lettuce was crispy and wilted. I have never had a bad experience at any other of their locations. I won't be going back to this one. Food was excellent but unfortunately I can only give this location 2 stars due to a discrepancy in what they actually serve in the restaurant vs what they have on the menu. I have dined at multiple black bear diner locations previously and each time I was able to get sweet tea. I had a sweet tea craving today so decided to go to the woodland black bear. Thankfully when arriving at the restaurant I found “bottomless sweet tea” listed on the menu so that’s what I requested. The waitress advised me they in fact do not have sweet tea, but rather they have a raspberry tea which I have zero interest in drinking. To make the situation worse, the only drink I wanted other than sweet tea was apple juice which cost me roughly $2 more and was not bottom less. Guess now I know I need to stick to Cracker Barrel when trying to get sweet tea to drink with my breakfast

I recently had a breakfast dinner at Black Bear Diner, and I must say, Sara, our server, provided excellent service throughout our meal. Her friendly demeanor and attentiveness made our dining experience enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was definitely the breakfast menu, which offered a variety of options to choose from. We decided to try the country potatoes as a side dish, and while they were flavorful, I found them to be a little on the salty side. However, this minor issue was quickly overshadowed by Sara's exceptional service. Sara was prompt in taking our orders and made sure to check on us regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Her knowledge of the menu and willingness to answer our questions about different dishes was much appreciated. Despite the slight saltiness of the country potatoes, the overall dining experience was pleasant, thanks to Sara's professionalism and friendliness. I would definitely return to Black Bear Diner for another meal and hope to be served by Sara once again.
