Came for a girls late lunch recently with our daughters in tow. As a mom sometimes you just need a drink (and the girls needed food). Usually, I come and have a beer but at our servers suggestion, this time decided on a couple of margaritas and they hit the mark. In my opinion what always makes a significant difference is the service! Our server Jose was amazing! He was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm glad we went with his suggestions. Girls had spaghetti and meatballs while us "grown ups" munched on the avocado egg rolls and wings while sipping our margaritas! Everything came out together like we requested and Jose made a clear effort to attend to our needs. With so many chain options in the area, I'm glad we came here. If you find yourself in the area definitely stop by and be sure to ask to be seated in his section. He won't disappoint! Bad experience. Ordered the grilled salmon and was served upside down skin up, and awfully drenched in their white sauce. Extremely disappointed with this plate, tasted overly salty the sauce is usually good but this time it was not. My daughter ordered the Mac and cheese which comes with a side and the strawberries had black rotten spots on the inside. Please be more careful with what is being served, especially, when it involves kids. Removed about half of the strawberries due to poor selection and care. Ordered the tri tip and ribs. Sides were great, ribs pretty good, tri tip was the most disappointing piece of meat I've ever ordered from a restaurant in my life. So bad it was inedible. Having cooked well over 100 tri tips myself, I'm embarrassed for them for having ever sent this out of the kitchen. Meat wasn't sliced, just gave me a big 4×4 inch hunk of the lowest grade of gristle laced garbage I've ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Who doesnt slice a tri tip when serving? I'm honestly not even sure it was tri tip. That one bite after the 3 minutes it took me to actually cut it off the chunk on my plate, got spit out. Disturbing. Service was great! However as we were eating something fell from the ceiling it was a dust ball!! We look up and see this lamp just full of dust and dirt! You guys really need to invest in a team to get these clean more often! Lastly the tri tip was so dry my knife would barley cut it! The avocado in the rolls was so dark and just disgusting! :/ we couldn’t even eat them. However pazookie was great as usual.
