I took my best friend for dinner for her birthday. It was definitely not like the atmosphere of the Salty , which we loved. I have a problem paying over $20 for a small pizza and then being charged $1.00 for ranch dressing. I would suggest bringing back the patio and live music to boost your business.

I was really excited to try Berta's Pizza Kitchen. This place had every opportunity to make gorgeous pizzas but the pizza was just okay. I expected elevated pizza for this level of dining and for the prices they charge. The pizza lacked seasoning and the sauce to cheese ratio was way off. So much cheese it made that beautiful crispy crust soggy. To prevent the soggy crust you have to olive oil the crust (this is where you also season). I would happily pay $20+ for a pizza, just not this one, so unfortunately I probably won't return. The Caeser salad was delicious. I love the pickled red onion. The atmosphere is nice. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive, and pleasant. If you're looking for drinks and live music, then this place is great. If you're looking for fine dining level pizza, this is not it.

The Chicken Parmesan was excellent. Very juicy and a big portion. Salad was just ok, kind of overpowered by the olives.
Only thing I really didn't like was that it smelled like cigarette smoke even inside the restaurant.

Crust for the pizza is absolutely delicious, atmosphere is a family, pet ( patio only)friendly with love music which has been on point. The wings are the best wings I've ever had.Prices are fair and if you leave hungry then you stayed to the very end and enjoyed the music. Now the staff, what can I say but AMAZING...Well trained, positive attitudes with some of best communication skills for such a young staff. The ladies bathroom is a country rustic feel. The light fixtures in restroom a must have!!! Well done keep up the GREAT JOB!!

The food is good. I felt like it could use more flavoring but I’m Italian so I’m a little biased. The service was great. It is kid friendly. While we were eating there was about 15 kids outside playing tag and other games. They have a large area for kids to run around. They have live music. It’s really a great place to have a nice dinner with the family or without the family.

My family and I went in for a Sunday night which was great because many of the local restaurants aren’t open on Sundays. The tortellini and the calamari were perfect. Our server was super sweet just a little over attentive.
Now that it’s an Italian restaurant I do recommend for them to have their servers to discontinue wearing shorts. It creates a casual atmosphere which I feel detracts from the family style experience. Also some of the shorts that some of the girls are wearing are high and tight.

I thought the food was great. I ended up with the lasagna. The sauce and meat had great flavor. Nice live music outside on the covered patio. Service wasn’t good but there did seem to be just a little confusion happening. Id go back for sure.
Saturday visit provided live adequate acoustic bluesy duo. Linguini with mussels and fish taco were great. Beer was $8 but that was the price for Yankees. Eclectic crowd. One guy at bar held a pet snake. Another hetero couple polished off a bucket of beers while his "date" strategically rubbed his thigh. Non-binary couple at bar had locked legs. Amazingly when both couples left another took their seats and the festivities began yet again - and it was only 4 pm! Don't miss out. Arrive early & hungry.

My daughter brought me here for Mother's Day! Surprisingly, it was not crowded, which was great! The food, the service, and the live music were all great! I tried the Red Snapper meal, which was good, but a bit overpriced. I felt like it should've came with 2 sides instead of 1. My daughter had the Lemon Garlic Shrimp dinner, which was good, too! Also, 1 recommendation I would make is for the staff to clean the ceilings, especially where customers are sitting, more often. There were 3 spiderwebs over and near our table. I did show our waitress and she said she'd let the manager know. Other than that, it was a nice time!

The atmosphere and service was awesome! The Salty Snapper combines price-sensitive dining, fresh seafood, a casual atmosphere and live music all in a single large venue. Nautical elements reinforce the seaside theme. They offer live music on their patio every Thursday through Sunday! See Their Facebook Page for the artist line-up each month! Every Monday they have TRIVIA on the Patio @ 7:00 p.m. Every Wednesday they have KARAOKE on the Patio @ 6:30 p.m.
The food was fabulous and plentiful for the price! My wife had the "best shrimp and grits I've had". Raw oysters are absolutely fantastic and one of my favorite dishes! They usually have 5 selections, so you can have your choice of small, medium, or large and then of course creamy or briny. Of course, my absolute favorite, Tuna Poke. If seafood isn’t your thing, no worries, there are plenty of other scrumptious items on their menu.
We will certainly return when we are in town!
