The sausage plate and pretzel at Berliner Pub are absolute favorites of mine! Actually, everything on their menu is fantastic. A great spot to enjoy delicious food across the board! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic German happy hour and beer selection with a very lively enviorment. Definitely recommend the pretzel to share and a litre stein of Weihenstephan. This German inspired gastropub in the heart of downtown Renton is a must! (Note: easy free parking in the lot right across the street. Always a perk!) Upon entering, the atmosphere is fantastic. The firepit, decorations, traditional Bavarian style details even down to the nice dark wood paneling and large beer hall style communal tables, the place feels so inviting and lively, and cozy! Definitely reminiscent of the many beer halls I’ve visited whilst in Germany. (Sure made me miss it over there! But was a nice little taste of Deutschland right here close to home!) Along with the communal style tables, there’s also a nice range of other seating options, with smaller tables and chairs placed around the pub, a bar with stools for seating, and many other spots like the long wall bench on one side and tables/chairs on the other. The beers were crisp and tasty, and of course served in a classic beer glass (you can get a .3L, .5L, or 1L size☺️) The steins that line the walls are an awesome touch and apparently are part of their Stein Member Program! So cool. When I visited, it was cold and rainy so I didn’t have a chance to check out the outdoor patio/ beer garden but I can’t wait to come back and enjoy it on a nice sunny day! The saving grace about this place was our bartender Zach. My ham was so tough and burnt I couldn't cut it. He removed the charge from my tab. There is nothing German about the location despite its name. With that in mind it's an alright dive bar, my beer, salad and pretzel were good. Great food. Ok service. So hot in there I had to hold my glass of ice water agents my wrists to keep from dripping sweat. They really need to invest in some AC. We watched the Seahawks game and rang up two hundred in drinks and food for a group of 5. Not again until it gets cold outside. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

The food here is absolutely great! We had hand battered brats and the huge soft pretzel. I came in for lunch shortly after opening. There was a line of a few patrons and the staff was quick to get everyone seated and given water. Definitely will be back to this little hidden gem in Renton. Cool pub to check out! My first time visiting this Pub and I was impressed with the authenticity of there food and atmosphere. This is a great place to sit and eat giving a very German vibe. I’m always in search of authentic restaurants or diners. This is definitely one you don’t want to pass by if your in Renton. The waitress was so nice, she gave us her menu recommendations and spot on! If you come here, don’t forget to try the huge pretzel and there pickle chips! It was a Wednesday whim visit for our group and it was fun! We tried beers and food and took time out to talk. We also forgot about a lot of the problems we were coming here to discuss, because being here put us in another realm, you know the one, a neighborhood hangout situation where everything is gonna be all right. For vibes alone, this place is great. Food also nifty because you can go large or small on choices. We enjoyed the jaeger schnitzel, sliders, burger, and more. Service was fantastic. We see they were setting up for a trivia game night when we left. How fun would that be? Other nights are karaoke or live music. Check their web site for latest news or pop in and ask what's up.
