*UPDATE* I went back today and tried more of their traditional Cuban food and it was great! The pork was juicy and tender. The beans were seasoned and also had ham and sweet potatoes in them, and my rice was flavorful. The passion fruit lemonade was also refreshing as well. I also had the peanut butter pie and cheese cake that were both homemade and wow they were TO DIE FOR. Service was great as always and the place had a good crowd.
Benji's Cafe is by far the best food in daleville, maybe even the Dothan/Enterprise area.
I had the special, "chef dabo's burger" with seasoned fries. The burger was juicy, seasoned perfectly, and cooked to perfection. The fries were also cooked perfectly and served at the perfect temperature. To drink I had the guava lemonade which is homemade and not from a container. It was delicious 😋
The atmosphere is very laid back, clean, and friendly. The mother and daughter both came by to check on us and our food. They were very friendly!
For dessert I had the Bizcocho Mojadito Cake, which is completely made from scratch. It was moist, fresh, and wonderful. I already want a second piece 🤣😂
I can't recommend this place enough and if you're in the area this should be on the very top of your places to visit and eat.

I’ve been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint! Food was so so delicious and generous amount. The atmosphere was great and very friendly staff and owners. I definitely recommend you to come and try this food. We will be back next week 😋❤️

Corn casserole was delicious. Asked for reviews on it. Cook a little longer for middle firmness and more top crust. Flavors were banging. Plantains, nice, more carmelization. Beans were very nice, meat was mouth watering.. seasons so well. Rice was a little stiff, but alright. Definitely get all again, but the rice. Thank you very much

First off, I am Puerto Rican but not so talented in the kitchen!
This year I spent Christmas Day out of town and ordered catering from Benji’s for today (Dec26th).
I was very happy Zulma helped me out from the day I placed my order to the day I picked it up. It’s worth adding I needed very small portions due to VSG surgery. She was okay with that! I ordered pasta salad without the tuna, She then suggested pasta salad with ham instead. Great!
The pernil was amazing! It melted in your mouth, literally 🔥 Everything was very well seasoned. Very Boricua!
To add, My husband is not Puerto Rican, he is MexicanAmerican and is very opinionated about food. He ♥️ every bit of it. No hot sauce needed!
He said everything was “super super delicious”. He loved the cheese guava quesitos and would definitely go back!
We give it a 100/10.
