Came a few weeks ago for my birthday and had a reservation for 1:15. Nobody else came for that time frame so I expected after 5-10 mins we would just get our own. Once we waited a while I for fired they were pushing us back to try and seat us with others. Got sat at the table around 1:22 and didn’t order till 1:39. I wouldn’t have had a problem if it was communicated but we were just ignored for the gap period. Most important part tho - food was great. Server was quick and accurate. Chef was very skilled and entertaining. We made a reservation for a few days later but after first experience just went somewhere else. Got an email the day after and said (save $30) off your birthday. Clicked and it’s just a link to make a new reservation. Lastly my guest was gluten free and thought that there was gluten in the fried onions from the soup. Dined in the restaurant tonight with my dad to celebrate my birthday and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We come to this restaurant four times a year and we have never had an experience like this in all the time we have been dining here. To start, once we seated and ordered we did not any staff over for twenty minutes at a time. We do 100% believe they were understaffed but it was a little shocking how long we went before we got a chef. We didn’t get a chef until almost an hour into being there and the rest of the table was also very confused by this as well. The meal itself was another problem. It felt like the chef did not want to be there at all and was in a hurry to get it done. The showmanship you usually get with the Benihana experience was not there in the slightest, it felt tense the entirety of the meal. Dropped a tool on the floor and used the salt shaker bottom in the food to squish it. The steaks, salmon and tuna were all squished on the stove, especially the salmon which was squished within an inch of its life. Food sections (like the zucchini /onions and similar steaks) were mixed together and were not portioned equally between guests, the people on one side got a ton compared to the people on the others and this followed through to the rice. The rice was tossed everywhere, it was tossed onto the table and guests and onto the floor. There was rice everywhere with how he had tried to mix it together. The middle section of the meal also had burned pieces of food that is usually found on the very edge of the grill that hadn’t been cleaned or moved found in the fresh food. The steaks were also not cooked to order at all. My father and I got the same entree steaks, his medium and mine medium rare, and they came out rare. Shrimps were cooked on raw chicken. The scallops were overcooked on one side and the chef made no correction to this and when he moved the scallops around he did not flip them and cooked them where the salmon had been so the scallops tasted like salmon. It was an incredibly disappointing meal for $100 a person. The restaurant itself was gross. The floors were covered in food and the men’s bathroom urine soaked. I don’t think we will be coming back again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Great place for special events. It is a little pricey, though! It's a great place to go a few times a year if you can afford it. Energetic environment, it can be loud at times. They cook the food in front of you and make a show out of it, It is kid friendly. There is a bar in the restaurant, alcohol may be present at your table. I recommend the Bennihanna Trio with two soups (one will replace the ginger salad). You'll get a little bit of everything and some to take home more than likely. I recommend asking for extra butter on your steak, chicken, and shrimp. The appetizers and sushi are decent. I recommend the tropical lemonade if you want to try something other than soda. I would get a main drink and water, and sometimes the waiter can get very busy during the meal and not have the ability to refill your drink promptly. They often will if you flag them down, though. Not seated for 20 minutes past reservation time. Experience was rushed. Fried rice costs extra $6 per person. Birthday pictures were very poor quality. Bathrooms were very dirty. Not what it used to be.

Sisters dinner night out yesterday 10/13/23 turned into a nightmare. First time dining here since before the pandemic. We were so excited as we don’t come to this area anymore due to our moves and was so excited to eat! We even saved our bellies to come feast as we were that excited. The waiter’s tone of voice gave us all a feeling like he did not want to be there but we continue to think positive as we’re trying to have a good night. The waiter didn’t even ask how I want my steak for their Specialties 6 course meal so I had to ask him do I get that option before he walked away with taking our orders. In the end my steak was not medium rare as I asked, shrimp was over cooked, zucchini was sour and mushy. Two of my sisters started not feeling well halfway through our dinner and just thought it was the rainy weather. As we left the parking lot one sister started feeling even more worse and in so much pain in the car. We had to do an emergency bathroom stop at a grocery store on the way home for her. And the other sister almost didn’t make it home before they had an emergency too. We traced back what we ate and there was one sushi order that only both of them shared that I didn’t eat. They mostly like got food poisoning from sharing that. Won’t be coming back as food don’t taste the same, and witnessing my sisters suffer was traumatizing. Had the best time last night, our host Zambrano was very attentive and polite. Our chef Brendon was hilarious! He executed the way I requested my meal and it was delicious 🤤 he even did a magic trick that blew me away! Great service ya’ll 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 thank you 😊 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Unique restaurant where the chef prepares the meal as you watch. The chefs are very entertaining and quite fast in their meal preparation. The food is also quite tasty as it is prepared fresh as you watch. The waiters are also very friendly. The quantity of the food is also considerable given that it's a 6 course meal. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Benihana Plum Wine

The food I got tasted good! But I went there for a small celebration but ended up having to wait half an hour to even get a table then, I had to wait around 20 minutes to get a worker to walk over, only to be told our server was going to be very late. But me and my friends were fine with waiting. But apparently I couldn't just get a few things( the sushi and dessert, as well as drinks) like I had Specifically asked for in the call I made before we got there. We ended up needing to be moved. Which i won't lie the place we were moved to was cold and very not flattering. That doesn't change the fact that the food still tasted good! Didn't have as much of a good time as I and my friends were hoping but it was Okay. ( I got the sushi samples and strawberry mochi, and the drink I got was the Ramune: Japanese soda!) Nanni is a great waiter, her smile and service was exceptional and the food was great. The chef did a good job with our order and we all enjoyed our food. The seafood option was the food of the choices for our group. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Benihana Plum Wine
