Was in town for a work trip and thought we'd check out some of the local eateries. This was the only restaurant we came back to more than once and we would have come again had we not had to fly home If you love Seafood you'll love this place, and coming from Florida I like to think I know my Seafood. Great atmosphere, love the history of the building the lounge in the basement with the pool table is a lot of fun Got to know the owners and they really are great people, very accommodating and really had a good time getting to know them Hopefully work sends us back here so we can have the pleasure of visiting again! Went to eat here at 6pm on a Thursday evening. Everything was dark and closed, although all signs and websites said it was open. Kind of disappointed as it looked like a decent place to eat. Update: Yes, there was the lower tavern underground, but we had someone with limited mobility, so walking down a flight of stairs was not feasible. Having signs everywhere means nothing when not accessible to everyone. When I see the main building closed, locked, and all lights off, I don't plan on calling as, I would make the educated guess that the whole place is closed. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Strange set up, but that aside, furniture is outdated and the place smelled. I was in the bar/tavern... in the basement, steep stairs, low ceiling. Did I mention it smelled? Hard to get comfortable and interested in eating food that, though way overdone, was only made better by the pleasant engagement with the staff who made the experience tolerable. Aside from the staff, I would never go back to the place again. And even though you only do seafood, you should at least have one option for a steak, or basic burger. After all, it's a pub. This was literally the worst meal I've ever had traveling for business across the USA!!! Edit: I am not sure how to reply to your message. I was traveling back from Philly on Sept 12th. We had to go down to the basement. The restaurant was closed? Walked in and the place smelled like pot. We each ordered a bowl of crab bisque i believe. It was thick, slimey and cold. Then got crab dip. Again, was thick, slimy and lukewarm. Then for my main course, i ordered Seabass. It was gray and freezer burned. Sorry i gave this review, but it was terrible. I was just there for my bday. I was excited to check it out considering how great the reviews were about the crab dip. I was very disappointed. First off I called to make reservations and the lady on the phone was quite rude. The crab dip was cold and tasted of nothing but cream cheese. They brought all of the food out before I could even finish my salad. I will say my waitress was very nice. Don't think I'll be back.

Our first dinning experience at the restaurant the crab dip is out of this world good. Please don't change it!!! Prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out so quick. We'll be back! Edited for 2nd time back review great food as always perfect temperature. Quick service. Disappointed. Have been waiting to try this place for so long . Fish was really soggy , buffalo wings tasted where hard , shrimp wantons where decent. All had a hint of the same flavor , old bay in old grease .
