The gyro here is what gyros everywhere aspire to be. The lamb is so tender. The yogurt sauce is wonderfully tangy and delicious. The pita has a tiny crispiness to it that I wouldn’t have expected would be desired, yet it was subtle and takes the entire experience to the next level. I will be back again and again. I’m basically ruined for gyros anywhere else. One of those rare experiences that I would give six stars if that were possible.

I’ve been eating at Avalon Pockets since it opened! Although I do not live in Avalon anymore I always make sure to stop by for dinner when I’m in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
