Delicious, flavorful food. I got the cornbread, cabbage, potatoes & Gouda, and fried okra. A delicious combination and all is well seasoned. The actual brick n mortar is also in close location (walking or driving) to the Stax museum (well worth a visit too) and has inspiring art to view (and buy). Food was off the chain!! Ya hear me!! The service is so nice. Establishment very clean. Restrooms very clean. The turkey ribs with specialty bbq sauce is my favorite but it’s very hard to pick bc I have yet to taste a bad thing on the menu. If you don’t like the food here you need to question your taste buds. I attended the spoken word event they have on the patio and it was amazing. This was my first Visit, I’ve heard so many people talking about how good the food was. I had to give it a try. Everything, Absolutely Everything was Delicious; we got: Turkey Ribs🔥couldn’t believe how good they tasted Salmon Sliders🔥 Gouda Potatoes 🔥 Smoked Cabbage 🔥 Tea/Lemonade 🔥 Broccoli cornbread 🔥 They also had beautiful Art posted, available for purchase. So they get a Perfect Score, I even got a “you look like Alicia Keys compliment” so yeahhh I love that place!🤣. Great everything in the heart of South Memphis/Soulsville. Soul Food Sunday is filled with the best staples, and the salmon sliders, black bean burger, and hand cut fries are to simply die for. The staff is a gift and truly know how to treat all customers from walk of life. The warmth and goodness is made in the food. And the ART!!! Goodness gracious. The features of local artists is beyond impressive. So happy to have this gem in the community. I love this place!! I come here often for lunch, and they never miss! Everyone is always so friendly, the service is great, and the food is even better! The turkey ribs are my favorite.
