I ordered a Cobb salad and ended up having to switch the lettuce to my own because it was so brown and slimy. I switched the toppings and discovered that they, too, were old and not very tasty, the bacon was horrible and the blue cheese crumbles were wet. I’ll never order food from here again. Food: 1

The food is good I like the salmon and the wings . My lil one loves the boneless. My only complaint they need to clean the place. I’ve been here several times both dine in and carry out and the tables seem like it’s not really being cleaned, other then that I would recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

First time dining at AJs. It was great! Cheese curds and Asian sticks were tasty appetizers. Had the fish and chips with rocket fries as well as French onion soup, five stars all the way! Large portions for sharing or leftovers. Service was top rate, and the atmosphere for a group gathering was spot on. The food here was average at best. After spending a long day at the cancer center it was nice to have some comforting food. Food was a complete blah. The service was ok. I did have to wait a while to place my order at the bar. Bartender and bar back were more focused on entertaining each other. I expect that when I sit down at a bar and the bartender isn’t busy, they would come over and get things going. Didn’t happen. Had to wait about 10 mins for service. Food was below average. A Ruben sandwich is made the same everywhere. Russian dressing. Not some mock tar tar sauce. Almost in edible. It sucked. Pumpernickel rye, RUSSIAN DRESSING, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and corned beef. First visit. Seemed to be a happening after work patio spot (we sat inside however)! Large food selection. Best mozzarella sticks I've ever tasted. Had a yummy battered coating, dusted with dry ranch dressing. Delicious margarita, I was surprised by the $15 price (not listed on menu) and the lack of happy hour drink specials. Entrees we're good. I was in AWE by the amount of fish & chips my husband received. My daughter enjoyed the house bacon cheeseburger, came with plenty of fries. I had a chicken dish with a creamy sauce w/spinach, artichokes & sun dried tomatoes - avg size. Tasty just could have used a tad more seasoning. Mixed veggies were perfect. Menus felt a little sticky. All in all, if I returned to Newnan I would consider visiting again. We went here for our late dinner. The staff are awesome and the food are great. Ashley and Tre are awesome both gave great customer service and very friendly too 😊 Justin the manager is quick to come to our table when we asked for him and he is very respectful. I love how they said GOD BLESS YOU when we are about to get out of Art and Jakes. For me that tells a lot. A&J has been in Newnan for years now. Tonight was our first visit there. Our experience was great. Our server was on point, and the food was too. The wings were crispy and good. The honey BBQ wings were too sweet for my taste, but my wife loved them. The lemon pepper was just right. The spud nachos and cheese curds were good, too. I have visited this place at least 3 times and enjoyed the food.. however today it was a totally different experience. First of all, when we walked in the floors were dirty..food and paper from straws were on the floor..I guess I should have walked out then, but because of previous experiences there I let it slide. I ordered the fish and chips same as I had on previous visits...but this time they were extremely dark in color. Upon further examination of the entre, I realized that the fish was mostly fried batter with little if any fish to be found. I let the waitress know and next thing I knew this guy was standing over out table and the first thing he said was "what's the problem". Did not introduce himself or apologize for my disatisfaction with the food. Said he would replace with newly cooked batch. He brought it out and then apologized. However the same issue was obvious with the second batch. He came back to the table and asked how everything was and I told him it was just like the first order. His comment to me was that they had been preparing the fish and chips all day and I was the only complaint. That is not something you say to a customer. His response was offensive to me as it sounded like I was making it up to get more food. Trust and believe that was not the case. At any rate he said they would cook another batch if I could wait 8 minutes. I agreed. Last batch I did not even bother to complain..it was horrible too. Because I paid 43 dollars for my meal, I just boxed it up and left. This is my last visit to this place. Never again. They need new management. We've eaten here twice, once in the restaurant and once takeout. Both experiences were really good! Everyone was super friendly and attentive when we ate at the restaurant, our waitress was wonderful and gave us plenty of suggestions to try in the future. Tonight we decide to place an order for pickup and our food was ready with little wait. Food traveled very well and was absolutely delicious! We got the Prime Time Pasta and Voodoo Pasta. Both had just enough spice and had fresh ingredients, highly recommend either of them to try! The menu is HUGE so there is plenty to come back and try again and again. I only wish I had eaten here sooner, so good!
