I'm giving this store 2 stars because I've had good experiences in the past, but today's customer service was horrible. I went to self-checkout, and the machine wouldn't recognize my rewards phone number when I typed it in. This meant that I wouldn't get the deals I wanted, which was ~50% off my items. I asked for help from the worker standing nearby. When I told her what happened, she has me try typing the phone number in again. Same thing, the computer doesn't recognize it. Then, she tries typing in the phone number herself (like that will change anything). Then she tells me to scan the barcode on my app and walks away before even seeing if that works. It doesn't, so I had to pay full price. Conveniently, when we were walking out, she had her back to us so that she wouldn't have to acknowledge us. Terrible customer service, and usually this Albertson's is great, but what good are the workers if they aren't even willing to help customers? I'll be sticking to Fry's for a while.
I can't believe that I am leaving a review for a grocery store.
But, I really feel compelled. Everyone working there went out of their way to say hello, ask if I needed help with anything, and appeared to be genuinely happy to see me. All the employees appeared to genuinely enjoy their jobs.
This is a well run store, with a very good meat section.
Whomever is running this place really deserves to be commended. Keep up the good work. I look forward to making this my main choice as a grocery store for the future.
👍🏻🤠👍🏻
I have had enough of Safeway and Albertsons deceptive pricing practices. The prices shown are far too often not what you get charged. This is due to their mobile phone app that is supposed to scan the lower “sale” price and charge you this price at checkout, but this does not happen most the time. You can get the advertised price, but only after going through a complicated process with the cashier at checkout. Add to this ridiculous nonsense, their overpriced merchandise and I have had enough. From now in, I am boycotting Safeway and Albertsons and will be shopping at Costco and Sprouts. Good riddance
This albertsons is SO much worse than all of the others. Their bakery section is basically non existant (other albertsons have so many more selections of quick individual cakes and things!). Their selection of dairy free alternatives (cheeses, cream cheeses, etc.) Is so sad.
I was happy living so close to this location, but I'd rather drive farther, out of my way, to go to a different location or just go to frys instead. This store HAS the room to improve, so I hope they do.
Well, Pepsi in the ad, but only shelf space for two Caff Free 12 paks as shown. Pepsi guy guy even stated: "this area drinks a lot of CF diet Pepsi" so why so little shelf space Me Mgr!?
I didn't even know Albertson's still existed.
It wasn't at all busy on a Tues just before noon.
Not my grocer of choice but popped in for a basic staple & also to kill time.
I dont live in the area & am not a regular shopper here so no opinion or recommendation there but if I did, I know I would seek out the nearest Frys (due to previous, long ago memories of high prices at Albertson's).
If you have a last minute need & live nearby, its probably recommendable.
If you enjoyed this review or found it helpful, PLEASE, give it a LIKE!
Most items overpriced by a LOT but good to stop by when items on sale.
Check your receipt EVERY time as discounts only work 1/2 the time and coupons from the app work rarely so be sure your receipt shows them.
Stars are mostly because clean and quiet
The employees in produce 2 young men in particular would rather chat and talk with each other then help customers find items that they need it. That was my experience this day. These two employees were not able to show me where anything was that I needed for my Instacart list except for to vaguely points off into that direction as they continue their conversation with each other. They were just standing in the department not putting anything away organizing anything. Just talking.
