Both my wife and I this evening were craving the wonderful flavors from south of the border in Tomball. Unanimously, we decided on Aguirre's Tex Mex. There is ample parking with a wheelchair accessible entrance. For dinner, we were seated immediately. You can hear beautiful music playing softly in the background without it disrupting your table conversation. Jacob, our fantastic server, joyously assisted us taking our drink and appetizer preference. The General Manager, Anna, stopped by our table to welcome us back as did the Manager, Andres. It is nice to be remembered. We started with a small queso with fresh and pickled jalapenos. My wife ordered chicken quesadillas with rice and charro beans. I requested the Plato Vaquero. We are foodies. When I tell you the flavors of the food stimulated our senses and took us to our happy places, believe it. The prices are family friendly and the bar is nice. We've driven by this place forever and finally came in tonight and now I'm mad we didn't try this place sooner. First off the staff was so friendly from the hostess to our waiter and even the guy who brought chips and salsa (which was constantly refilled and we never ran out). The food was so delicious. I don't live in Texas, so the three times I've been to Aguirre's have been a year or more apart. Forever, the food has always been amazing. Our server, Bryan, was wonderful. He detailed our options and made the table comfortable with making any changes we wanted to our meals. I mean, he was perfect! It may be another year or more, but I'll be back, that is for sure. Excellent food here. Really like the pork tacos on the appetizers menu. The chicken fajitas were also good. Update 11/12/23: tried the Sunday Special tonight. It was a combination plate. My wife and I ate here last night and we had the best experience at this location. We have been long time Aguirres customers and we have never gotten out to this location. Last night was our first. Our server Aracley was one of the best servers I have ever had. Her communication skill were outstanding. Not only that, My wife was having a tough time deciding whether she wanted pork or fajita beef and Aracley without fail, offered to bring her a sample of each in order to help better her decision. That was the first time any server has offered such thing! We were so appreciative of that, as many times when you order something, it may not be what you expected. From the drink orders to the final bill she was fantastic! Manager Dashaun was very attentive to our needs during our meal. At the end of the meal we couldn't help but pass the compliments to Manger Dashaun. We will definitely be back This is one of the most well run restaurants I have been to in a while. If you have never been to Aguirres, I encourage you to go. The food is outstanding along with the service that is provided. Thank you for an outstanding meal. My husband and I have lived in Tomball for a year and just tried this place tonight. The staff was amazing, our waiter Brian was the best . The food was above and beyond fantastic. Extra mile customer service! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was exceptional. I got the chimi & changa with shredded chicken. With the signature charro beans. It was lovely and spicy in a good way. Our server Savannah was amazing!!! Great service!! Very sweet and knowledgeable. The food was also really good and Savannah did a great job explaining some meals.
