Always solid. Do yourself a favor and dine here. Pro health tip: this is one meal a day! Nutritious and tasty!! My recommended dinner: 14oz Ribeye steak 🥩 medium rare with a side of nicks sauce, a add on lobster 🦞 tail and butter, sub out mashed potato for mushrooms 🍄 doused in a veal stock broth that is to die for (this might be the best steak sauce on the menu) and, a roasted garlic 🧄 bulb for added vascular health. Yum!! 😋 great service (as always) at the bar from Shannon! Top notch. My wife and I came in to have a nice dinner for our 14-year anniversary. Everything was spot on from walking in the door to our server Jacob as well as all the staff. Experience was excellent! We were in their separate space for large parties. Unfortunately, there's nowhere to gather in that space that isn't around the very large table so we could only really visit with the few people in our immediate area. The flower centerpieces were dying and dropping petals on the table, which wasn't very classy for a super expensive dinner. The food was good but honestly, if I was paying, I wouldn't go because, for me, it's too expensive for what it is. Mashed potatoes instead of baked, which I'm sure is easier and cheaper for them. This was a very enjoyable evening. We went on a Wednesday evening, we had a reservation and were seated right when we arrived. We were told all the specials in detail and our drink orders were brought quickly. The food was top quality (we really enjoyed the steaks), and reasonably priced for white tablecloth dining. Drinks were delicious. Portion sizes were perfect. We were pleasantly full and didn't require to go boxes. The music and lighting was great. It was a little noisier when we first got there, but having a later reservation (7:00 PM), it quieted down by the time we were midway through our meal. Waitstaff was very professional, helpful and attentive. We also had dessert which was fantastic. overall great evening and you won't be disappointed if you go. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Here we go with another review. This time, "The king of steak" or so is the reputation of the restaurant in Chico, CA. 5th Street Steakhouse hit the nail on the head with every aspect. The atmosphere was very busy, and even on a Wednesday night, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is not for you. Great service by front of house. Seated fairly quick (12min wait) Be sure to make reservations because the wait can be awhile since this place seems always packed. The only hiccup was I requested a Med Well steak and got a well. Which is common, but, in all fairness to reviews and how critical I am, this tiny hiccup was the difference between a perfect 15 and the 14 I am giving it. Thanks for an amazing night full of great food that tasted as fresh as possible. I look forward to my next visit. 14/15!
