The food was good but the customer service was awful, and it set the tone for a bad atmosphere. I came here with my Family from Texas and we were disgusted at the bad attitude of the owner when we placed our order. He wasn't friendly at all, and he seemed a bit perturbed. Customer service sets the tone for a great business, and it can turn 1st-time customers into long-term customers or 1st-time customers into NO RETURN customers. My rule of thumb with any establishment is, if the customer service is no good I'll never spend another dime there NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS. I've visited restaurants where the service was Great but the food wasn't, and I returned because of the experience I had. While I can't control anyone's attitude, I can control where I spend my dollars. You can't treat your customers with rudeness or your business will be short-lived. Today was the first time we ate here. Coming from Germany i was looking for some Soulfood and we got just that. The atmosphere there was really nice and welcoming. And what was also great is that even though they were closing we were still able to order and got our food. Fresh and tasty. We ordered honey bbq wings with a side of collard greens and we got lemon pepper wings. My honey bbq and the collard greens were on the spicy side but the taste was still great.
